Waterproofing and Sealing
Wind turbines harness the forces of nature to give us clean, renewable energy. In the process, all elements of the tower and its foundation are exposed to the wind causing the entire structure to move. This movement can result in the formation of cracks allowing moisture to penetrate the structure and leading to long term damage.
Installing a waterproof coating to the foundation prevents this water ingress and extend the life of the asset.
In collaboration with Triflex we are offering certified installation of their Towersafe System waterproof sealing across Ireland and Europe.
The Triflex Towersafe is a specially developed solution designed to waterproof the entire wind turbine, including the tower, foundation, rotor blades and nacelles. The fully reinforced system can be installed quickly to minimise downtime and can easily withstand the unique demands of this tough environment.
